¿Para qué hice este blog?
Este es mi blog. Es un blog que he hecho para que la gente sepa quién es el grupo The Kooks.
The Kooks es un una banda indie-rock bastante actual y si seguis leyendo descubriréis algo de su vida, cómo se conocieron, quiénes lo forman y mucho más. :)

Chris entró en el grupo sustituyendo a Paul Garred como batería en 2012 y ahora en el actual batería del grupo.

Dan Logan
DAN LOGAN
Después de que Max dejara el grupo, Daniel Logan lo reemplazó. Sin embargo
después de unos meses, también dejó la banda.
<<To all those that might have heard the news, yes its true, The Kooks and I have parted company, there are no hard feelings, the others decided things weren’t working out and we’ve gone our seperate ways.
I wish them all well for the future and would like to thank all the fans for the support they gave me when i joined the band, you’ve all meant alot to me, fans always come number one,
I’m off to persue new ventures and i’ll be sure to let you know what becomes of me as time goes by
My humble thanks to all of you, all my love and my care, you mean alot>>

MAX RAFFERTY
Max dejó permanentemente el grupo por problemas de salud.
Rafferty, ya había abandonado temporalmente el grupo en varias ocasiones debido a problemas de salud, y decidió alejarse definitivamente por el bien de todos.

PETER DENTON
Peter Se unió a la banda a principios de octubre de 2008, reemplazando al ex bajista Dan Logan, que había sido reemplazado temporalmente por Max Rafferty.
actualmente está casado con la modelo Portia Freeman y tienen un hijo llamado Dylan.

El actual cantante de the kooks: Luke Pritchard, nació el 2 de marzo de 1985 en Lewisham, Londres, Inglaterra.

Infancia y educación
Luke es hijo de Bob Pritchard, también músico. Bob falleció cuando Luke tenía cuatro años de edad. Más tarde, Luke Estudió en Bedales School, Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology y en la Brighton Institute of Modern Music, y fue allí donde formó The Kooks en 2003 juntamente con Max Rafferty, Hugh Harris y Paul Garred

Luke inició su carrera musical en una banda llamada Covernote con sus amigos Thomas Lighfoot, Brian Slade, James Dampier y Ed Bartlett.
Fue novio de la cantante Katie Melua, una relación de la que él dice:<< fue una de las cosas buenas que me sucedieron en mi corto tiempo en la Escuela de Brit de la Música>> y esto fue en el 2000. Terminaron su relación en 2005, pero en buenos términos. Luego, Luke empezó una relación con Mischa Barton. Luke afirmó: "Soy muy afortunado. Ella es hermosa, así que me siento afortunado de que haya decidido salir con alguien como yo. Sucedió porque tenemos muchos amigos en común y seguí yendo a las mismas partes".
